I am keeping this ladoo recipe very simple and limited with three ingredients only. The whole performance of cooking has to perform on simmer gas flame only. Be attentive while roasting sesame as it quickly get burn and can ruin the taste.
Ingredients for making Jaggery Sesame Ladoo Recipe
Sesame Seed – 1 ½ cup
Organic Jaggery / regular jaggery – ½ cup
Mawa/ Khoya – ¾ cup
Basic preparation for Jaggery Sesame Ladoo Recipe
- Roast sesame seeds in a heavy base pan or in a non stick pan.
- Make a coarse powder out of this roasted sesame.
Method of making Jaggery Sesame Ladoo Recipe
Step 1: Put a nonstick pan on slow gas flame. Add khoya and stir well.
Cook until khoya starts leaving ghee.
Step 2: Now add jaggery powder and mix well. Cook on slow gas flame until become a liquid in consistency. Turn the gas off.
Step 3: Now add sesame powder and mix well so that everything mixes well. Let it cool for two minutes.
Step 4: Now take small amount of mixture on your palm and give a round shape like ladoo. You can use both the palms for fine finishing. Make rest of ladoos same way.
Keep sesame laddo on a plate in room temperature for 30 minutes for complete cooling.
Jaggery Sesame Ladoo is ready to serve. Enjoy these super healthy and instant ladoo with a glass of milk. You can keep these ladoos in an air tight container for further use. The shelf lives of these ladoos are nearly a week.
Tips for making Jaggery Sesame Ladoo
- You can make this Gur Til Ladoo using normal available jeggery too.
- Add cardamom powder while mixing sesame to jaggery for more flavors.
