Ingredients for making Vrat Special Tangy Potato Dry
Baby Potato – 200 grams
Tomato – 2
Cumin seed (jeera) – ½ Table Spoon
Ghee- 1 ½ Table Spoon
Mint Leaves (Pudina patti) – 10
Green chilli- 1
Rock Salt (Sandha Namak) – according to taste
Black pepper (kali mirch) – ¼ tea spoon crushed
Basic preparation for making Vrat Special Tangy Potato Dry
- Boil baby potato for one whistle on medium gas flame in a pressure cooker. If, you are cooking it in an open vessel, cook until become soft.
- Let the potato cool completely and then peel it.
- Chop tomato, green chilli and mint leaves finely.
Method for making Vrat Special Tangy Potato Dry Recipe
Step 1: Heat ghee in a nonstick frying pan or wok.
Add cumin seed and when it starts turning little brown add chopped tomatoes, mint leaves and chilli. Saute until tomatoes become soft.
Step 2: Add boiled baby potatoes and sauté well. Cook on simmer flame. Add few more chopped mint leaves (optional) for more flavors. Add salt and crushed black peper and stir well.
Step 3: Cook on simmer gas flame for 10 minutes until potatoes start leaving oil. Potatoes and tomatoes are become crispy from outside and ready to serve.
