The whole process will hardly take 40 minutes of time. The ingredients are sufficient to make 15 dosa. You can decrease or increase the quantity according to your requirements.
Ingredients for making Instant Ragi Dosa Recipe
Ragi (Madua) – 1 ½ cup
Rice Flour – ¾ cup
Semolina (Rava) – ¼ cup
Curd (Dahi) – ½ cup
Salt- 1 Tea Spoon
Water – 2 ½ cup (adjust according to consistency)
Oil- for greasing pan
Basic preparation for making Instant Ragi Dosa Recipe
- Take Ragi flour, rice flour and semolina in a large mixing bowl.
- Add curd and mix well.
- Now add water and beat until a smooth batter consistency has formed.
- Now add salt and stir again. Keep aside for 30 minutes for resting.
- The batter should not be so thick, if required, add water for making a pouring consistency.
Method for making Instant Ragi Dosa Recipe
Step 1: Heat a flat pan or nonstick tawa on gas. Grease the pan with some ghee / oil.
Step 2: Now stir batter two or three times and take a ladle full of batter and start pouring on the tawa from outside towards inside. Circulate ladle in a round direction on tawa while pouring the batter.
Step 3: Let it cook for 30 second approx. and then sprinkle some oil on it. Wait until the upper layer looked dried properly. Now carefully flip the upper side down for hardly 10 second and bring ragi dosa on your serving plate.
Repeat the process for making the rest of madua dosa. Enjoy Instant Ragi Dosa with any variety of sauce / chutney.
