In our Uttarakhand, especially in Kumaon we do make Khajure (same like sharapara) for our festivals. I have given a twist to this traditional Khajure recipe. Khajure is a deep fried snack like shakar para but I have saved that oil and baked these snacks to give a healthy touch.
