Ingredients of Sabudana Kheer Recipe
Sabudana – ½ cup
Milk – ½ Liter (full cream)
Almonds (Badam) – 10
Sugar – 4 Table Spoon
Water – 1 cup
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes
Yield: 2 – 3 servings
Basic preparation of Sabudana Kheer Recipe
- Wash Sabudana with clean water and then soak in one cup of water for at least 15 minutes.
- Finely chop almonds.
Method of making Sabudana Kheer Recipe
Step 1: Boil milk in a pan on simmer gas flame.
Step 2: Drain water from Sabudana and add Sabudana in milk. Turn the gas on simmer mode. Cook it for 5 minutes.
Step 3: Add chopped almonds and sugar, stir. Keep stirring in between; otherwise Sabudana will stick in the bottom of the pan. Cook it for approx 15 minutes.
Sabudana Kheer is ready. Turn the gas off and let it cool at room temperature. Serve it hot or chilled as per your preference. Garnish Sago Kheer with chopped almonds. Enjoy navratri fasting with sabudana kheer.
