Milk – ½ Liter (Full Cream)
Cashew Nuts (Kaju)– 5
Almonds (Badam) – 5
Cardamom (Elichi) – 1
Ghee – 1 Table Spoon
Sugar – 3 Table Spoon

Basic preparation of Makhane Ki Kheer Recipe
- Heat ghee in a pan and add makhane, almond and cashew nut. Roast until makhane turns slightly golden. Turn the gas off and let it cool.
- Take roasted makhane, almond and cashew nut in a blender jar. Add a cardamom and grind it to a powder.
Method of making Makhane Ki Kheer Recipe
Step 1: Heat Oil in the same pan or any other. When a boil came into milk reduce the flame and add makhana powder.
Step 2: Stir well and let it cook for 10 minutes on simmer gas flame. Now add sugar and stir again. The consistency of Makhane Ki Kheer will get a bit thicker now. Turn the gas off.
Makhane Ki Kheer is ready to serve. Enjoy it hot or chilled according to your preference. Garnish Makhane Ki Kheer with some makhane and chopped almonds. I prefer making this kheer on weekends as a sweet dish.
